Camping experience at Anawangin Cove (Photo Roll)

So much firsts for this trip.

First long trip with friends.
First time to experience camping life.
First time to go beachin' with my friends of more than a decade.
And a lot more.

Destination:  Anawangin Cove, Zambales
Date: April 11 - 12, 2015

We availed a package tour from DLC Travel & Tours for 1,599.00 who had everything arranged from van going to Zambales, transfers, camping tents and cooking materials that we need to survive in our 2 days & 1 night stay.

Bags packed.
All set and ready to go!

Picture taking upon arrival at Pundaquit mainland.

While waiting for our ride to the island.

The Boat Ride to Capones Island

Arrival at Capones Island, before climbing to the Lighthouse

Brace yourselves for quite some walk under the summer heat going to the Capones Lighthouse.

You'll definitely pass by this view

Before going inside the lighthouse

Btw, getting to the top is such an experience to remember as well.
You need to go through steep and rustic stairs.

But when you reach the top, it is all worth it.

This is the view from the Lighthouse
Now that is such a fine sight

Group selfie, an even finer sight :)

After Capones Island, we are finally going to Anawangin Cove where we will be having our camping experience.

Glimpse of the cove

Arrival at the camping site..

Camping Tents at the site

and this is our shelter for 2 days :)

The tiring walk plus the scorching heat made us so hungry but the thing about camping is that you need to prepare your own food.

And we struggled so hard with the fire!

After what feels like eternity we were finally able to cook our food. Yey!

Fresh fish we bought at Pundaquit Market

Finally! Lunch/meryenda is served =)

Dinner by the bonfire

And this is what we have for dinner

The star of the night - S'mores by the bonfire!

The next day we wanted to have breakfast by the beach and so we did =)

Morning view

We were supposed to trek after breakfast but decided not to join the activity so we could just enjoy the beach and snorkel.

After the swimming and snorkeling we went back to our tent, prepped ourselves up for picture taking before we leave.

Selfie!!!

Photoshoot moments!

Bags packed again and we have to bid goodbye to this beautiful place.

Picture with Dexter, our awesome tour guide!

And that's it..

Thank you so much Anawangin for the wonderful experience!

We had so much fun and a lot of good memories to cherish.

And to my friends, anywhere with you girls will definitely be an exciting and memorable one!

Looking forward for more travels in the future  =)
