Life's ambiguity

After reading John Green's Looking for Alaska, I honestly felt a bit of disappointment with how it ended. Though I already had the idea of how the story's gonna go because I've read the summary before I actually read it, still I was surprised. So here it is..

(I'm not gonna do a summary or in depth review, just gonna state my point..okay)

In the book Alaska Young died in an accident, well before actually reading it, I really believed that she committed suicide but it turns out that in the book the real reason of her death is a mystery.Whether suicide or not, her friends do not know. They do have assumptions of what the reason might be, but that's it, no answers just questions.

I wanted to hate John Green for that, but upon reading his answers to those readers who have the same questions as me, I got his point and had my realizations..

Live with ambiguity.

As he said, I do agree that there really are questions that need answers but no matter how hard we try, will forever remained unanswered.Well, that's how we should accept life as it is. Full of mysteries and uncertainties.Life's surprises, you'll never know what you're gonna get. You plan for what you want, but whether you'll succeed in it... there's no guarantee. You wait for something but there's a chance that it might not come, but you keep on waiting though. Coz we live in a world of endless possibilities, some with clarity and some with total uncertainty, but we embrace it.. we risk, hope and believe. We don't get answers to every questions, but as we keep on figuring out the answers..we just learned lessons.

much love..
